big sigh of relief

WHEW, I got into graduate school after all! Thank the academic god(esse)s!

I will be doing a Masters of Science in Planning at the University of Toronto starting this autumn…sounds kinda neat, right? It’s just a huge relief to have some sort of plan for the next two years, since I’ve been floundering a bit since I finished school in December.

Actually, it’s been a really good past few days: lots of bike riding, reading in the park, picnics, running into friends, meeting friends-of-friends, and drinking sangria and rye and gingers at my favourite little bar.

I also bit the bullet and purchased early-bird tickets for Osheaga music festival in Montréal. I couldn’t resist the amazing lineup…The Black Keys, Florence and the Machine, Sigur Ros, Metric, Feist, The Shins, Bloc Party, M83, Garbage, Yesayer, Black Lips, Bombay Bicycle Club, and lots more…DAYUM.

No, Wayne Coyne won’t be there this year, but it should be a blast nonetheless.

Unseasonably hot weather -> meals on the front stoop

Pasta with pesto, broccoli, and edamame.

GREENS with leftover pasta and avocado.

Plate of goodness! Fried egg, toast, mixed greens, and cucumber.

Precariously-placed oatmeal!
